Team well dones

Hello again!!

June and July saw lots of promotions for my lovely team of demonstrators - Julie's Jems! I am so proud of each and every one of my team and I have a real mix of people from those out to make Stampin Up their business in the long term and those enjoying the discounted products and running their card classes. Well done to all my girls who promoted.

Here are the cards I made for the recent promotions. I used the Greenhouse Gala papers and the Just Believe stamp set for the grasses.

The congratulations sentiment is from Curly Cute (told you I couldn't stop using it) and I have added lots of butterflies from the popular Beautiful Wings embosslit in Daffodil Delight and Melon Mambo.

Now - would you like to be part of the FUN?? I can honestly say (and I am sure my team will agree) that joining Stampin Up is one of the best decisions I ever made. I love this company with all my heart and value the friendships I have made through stamping and crafting with Stampin Up. Would you like to be part of that??? £119 will buy you the kit below (you can change the stamp sets) and give you all the tools you need to set yourself up with your own Stampin Up business - this contains over £230 worth of products

I am looking for more people to join our team. This is now my full time job and I will hold your hand all the way. If you sign up before the end of August you can

Order products on 1st September from the upcoming new Idea Book and Catalogue which is not on sale until 1st October via a PRE ORDER

Book to come to the Annual Stampin Up Convention in Disneyland Paris in November

Not have to meet your first quarterly target until the end of December 2011

You will receive a FREE copy of the brand new catalogue in September

You will have 2 months to get yourself up and running before the new catalogue arrives on 1st October

In addition to this you will also receive a welcome pack from me and be able to attend an Induction Day where I will train you in the basics

Anjie LOVES blue and in particular turquoise so it had to be done!!

And here are all 3 cards together, a bit of a mixture but it was the People's Choice after all!!

Hope you like them, would love to know which your favourite was!!

Fox and Friends

Hey there!!

Another card from our Tuesday Club. I got a couple of requests from Jane and Ciara to use Fox and Friends so here is the card we made. The idea came totally from the lovely Lindsey who is my Stampin Up sister. I asked her if we could case her card and she allowed me to!! Thanks Lindsey, I did change a few elements so it wasn't totally the same!

So the main card base is Pear Pizazz and there is quite a lot of scoring and cutting involved to create this stair card. All my ladies did fab though and no mistakes with the scoring!!

We added some Old Olive grass which was scalloped with the Scallop Edge Border punch and then I added some cheeky monkeys dangling from some branches from the 2 step bird punch.

I do think mine is a bit plain on the sides so once I decide who it is for I will add a number to one of the sides!
Hope you like it and see you tomorrow for the final card

Tuesday Card Club Shenanigans!

Good morning, its a bright one here today!!

On Tuesday night we had fun (as usual) at Card Club and we made 3 cards. I gave the ladies the option of choosing the stamp sets before the class so we made cards with sets we haven't used before! I will show you the cards over the next couple of days.

The first one was with Growing Green, this is very similar to a card I made a few weeks back. I just love Regal Rose with Pear Pizazz and Old Olive, its a scrummy combo!!

We used the blender pens with the ink pads to colour the images. I did get asked some questions as to how to do this. I use Stampin Up Whisper White cardstock and I ink my blender pen up with ink from the lid of my ink pad and make gentle strokes, try it in a circular motion. Don't press to hard, thats the key!

I have recently been using my crimper more often and I made this little frill on the bottom of the card, reminds me of an old fashioned underskirt!

The sentiment is from Curly Cute which is a set I cannot seem to put down at the moment, fab for sentiments!!

Right I think that is it from me today. I have my nephew Lucas this afternoon and need to go to the Post Office before he arrives to send a wedding order. I only now have 2.5 wedding orders left to complete and then I will have finished them all - FOREVER!! I made the decision back in February to stop the weddings and be fully Stampin UP but I had lots of commitments and its been a very long 6 months to get them all finished! Should be done by the beginning of September and then I will be having a big knees up to celebrate!!

Back tomorrow with another card from Tuesday CLub

A bit Vintage!

Good morning!!

Something very different to show you today - NO OWLS!!! I have gone a bit vintage!!!! My lovely friend Jo sent me a gorgeous vintagey birthday card earlier this month and I have based it on my design for 2 of my fab downlines birthdays. Last Sunday my downline Sarah celebrated her birthday (swell as her engagement too - how cool!) and today is my downline Lisa's birthday too. Happy Birthday girls, hope you had a fab time!!

Time constraints meant I had to make them both the same card, just obviously changed the initial!!

The colour combo is Always Artichoke, Baja Breeze, Very Vanilla, Crumb Cake. LOts of inking and a little bit of distressing too!!

The background is the Very Vintage wheel stamped in Crumb Cake. Papers are from Springtime Vintage
The flower is made using the 5 petal flower punch and the leaves are from the Bird Punch.
Here is Lisa's, some parts differed slightly as I played about with the design.

And here is the card from my lovely friend Jo that inspired me! Thank you Jo! x

Will be back tomorrow with more cards for you from last night's card club. As usual we had good fun at our club - it was People's Choice last night, I let the ladies choose the stamp sets we used!!

Good morning. Well its officially the first day of the school hols for us today and I was up and dressed for 8.30, no PJ day for me - lots to do!!

On Friday night the lovely June hosted a Stampin Up workshop for me and we introduced the world of Stampin Up to her friends. It was a lovely evening, thank you June for having me.

This is the project I demonstrated as we decided I would showcase the Owl Punch

I turn to these bags every time I need a demo project, so thank you to Becki who originally found it and Chris who tweaked it and demoed it, its be a real good demo project for me!!

I just love the Crumb Cake seam binding ribbon, its my favourite of the 4 colours we do. I really hope it stays in the new catalogue!

We always make a card at my workshops so the ladies got to make a card that matches my demo project.

School days Scrapbooking

Good morning, what a lovely sunny Sunday it is!!

Yesterday I had a fab scrapbooking class and also a lovely sale day with lots of ladies coming to get their hands on lots of my sets which retired last year. Thank you to those who came, was lovely to see you.

My lovely scrapbookers were on fire yesterday creating School Days layouts. I took my camera and was so busy I didnt get chance to take photos!!!

So the theme was school days and we used the apple stamp from the Tart and Tangy set and the Play Date papers.

I created a little blackboard effect with some black card and the white inkpad and I used the word window punch to create some books. One of my ladies on Tuesday made some pencils using the same punch and they looked fantastic.

This page is of Evan and covers all the things he did in Reception

And this page is Ross and has photos of his first day at school and his first Nativity play when he was one of the three kings.

Hope you like the layouts, if you are local and would like to join our scrapbook club please get in touch with me. Email address is at the top of my blog

Teacher cards and gifts

Good morning!

Its the last day of school for Evan today so some teacher gifts were required. I decided to make bags for some chocolates for Evan's teacher and also the teaching assistants. I also got the main teacher an extra present which isnt pictured.

I made the fab gift bags that my downline Chris demoed at our training back in January, I keep coming back to this design time and time again. This time I have used the Tart and Tangy set, well just the apple from it and gone with a colour combo of Daffodil Delight, Real Red, Old Olive and Pumpkin Pie.

I used the FOur Frames stamp and the Thank You Kindly stamp in the centre. Each bag had a Daffodil Delight bow on the handle and a personalised tag

The contents of the bag are Thorntons chocolates.

Here is the card I made to match, same set but added the All in the Family school boy!!

The set together

All 3 cards

The cards fit nicely inside the bags.

After all this effort I hope Evan carries these into school really carefully tomorrow!!

Hope you like them. Will be back tomorrow
